Painting 1

These are some of the paintings that I did in my first semester.

These two paintings were made using a triadic colour harmony and an analogous colour scheme. On a basic colour wheel, there are twelve colours, a triadic colour harmony is made by choosing three colours that are equally spaced out on the colour wheel. For example, I used blue, yellow-green and red-orange to make my harmony. On the other hand, analogous colour schemes are made by choosing three colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel. In my case, red, red-violet and violet.
